About "Hunger Rescue Mission"

HUNGER RESCUE MISSION is a Non-Governmental Organization with 501 c 3 status registered on 15th of January, 2014, by Apostle Nicholas Kole Oluyemi (Founder). Its headquarter is in Andover New Jersey United States of America and established in line with the United Nations Protocol on sustainable development goals 2030 with emphasis on zero hunger.

The organization’s main objective is reduction of poverty especially through provision of humanitarian assistance through provision of free food to the needy, hungry, disabled, indigent citizens, homeless and displaced persons, the aged and the deprived in the society. In view of this, the organization is committed to undertaking various programs and activities for Internally Displaced Person, Women, the aged and physically challenged, and orphans in the society irrespective of their caste, creed, age, sex, color and religion, in urban and rural areas.

We also care about the destitute in our society and we are determined to bring succor to them through provision of free food and shelter. We carry on in the spirit of truth and love remembering that all humanity have their purpose in life and we want to make sure we leave no one behind in our journey to help them achieve their purpose in life.


THE HUNGER RESCUE has over the years been involved with assisting the under-privileged in the society, bringing succor to the needy, sheltering the poor, providing free food and education to the deprived children in our society. Most specifically, we have supplied food and clothing to IDP camps and disable homes in Irvington City, Newark and in New Jersey tri-states area,  Karamajiji, Kuchingoro, Gwoza & Bama  Durumi, in Nigeria and Nairobi Kenya etc. We started this NGO from United States and have established a branch in Nigeria and Kenya embarking on the same project.

Who We Serve:

The Hunger Rescue feeds hungry people both locally and internationally. The category of the people we serve includes women and children who are victims of domestic violence, senior adult citizens, substance abuse victims, low-income individuals and some other not for profit organizations that operate programs that assist the disadvantaged.

Items We Give:

  • Food: pasta, rice, noodles.
  • Meats (chicken, Beef, turkey, pork).
  • Dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurts).
  • Fruit and vegetables (apples, peaches, grapes, spinach, collar green, Pepper, tomatoes, onion).
  • Frozen, dry and fresh foods.
  • Juices and beverages.
  • Breads, muffins, cookies and pastries.
  • Toiletries.
  • Clothes and shoes.
  • Educational materials.
